August 2 – Appreciation A Day, GOOGLE!
Ok, so I do realize that I just posted one earlier today – that one was for yesterday. I got off to a rocky start because I could NOT figure out how to flip a photo! I uploaded photo’s taken on my iPhone and then airdropped to my ipad (which I’m typing on currently now). When I uploaded a photo here, it was upside down! I flipped it. I screenshot it. I uploaded it again. Upside down. I went to google and found a site, uploaded it there and flipped the “exif” data. Re saved to ipad. Uploaded again.
So I didn’t post an August 1 post, because I couldn’t figure out my images. I went online last night, googled “upside down photos”, “changing exif data”, “working with iPhone photos”, “apps to flip photos”, etc.
While I didn’t find the exact answer I needed, on one of the Google ANDROID forums, I did see a reference to uploading from an android in landscape and how it will load it upside down.
My ipad is currently in landscape since it’s in a case/keyboard and I type on it like a laptop. I have been doing all the uploading, screen grabbing, saving etc. while it’s like this. What if I just rotate my screen to portrait (Plug side down) and then save the picture??? Could it BE that simple??
*flip* *save* *upload*
Well what do you know. That shit worked! So glad it took me 2 days to figure out I had to rotate my ipad, lol.
Anyway – if it weren’t for Google forums, I would have been frustrated for days for a simple fix.
So, for today, I’m appreciative of Google forums!
